Reunions

The HCHS Alumnae/i Association hosts a General Reunion each June at the High School (94th St. & Park Ave.). In 2009, Reunion will take place on Sunday, June 7. Although the emphasis is on milestone classes (multiples of 5 years since your year of graduation), all alums are welcome to attend.

Many classes also opt to hold separate festivities which are organized by volunteer class coordinators. The Alumnae/i Association office can provide a class listing (with class members' names, addresses, telephone numbers and email addresses) as well as mailing labels and will reimburse the class coordinator for the reasonable costs of one mailing (postage and stationery). We can also help with ideas or locations for your celebration. Many classes design a website or set up an egroup to get classmates in touch with each other. It is also customary for the class coordinator to encourage classmates to make donations toward a class gift. This gift can be earmarked for a specific use at the high school or left open for the association's board of directors to earmark. Since the Alumnae/i Association is a 501(c)(3) organization, contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
