Live Zoom concert by Pat GORDON Lamanna '65
August 6, 2020 at 2pm ET

August 6, 2020 will mark the 75th anniversary of the dropping of an atomic bomb by the United States on Hiroshima, Japan. On that day, at 2 p.m. EDT, Pat GORDON Lamanna '65 will give a concert of peace songs. Some of the songs may be familiar (e.g., “Where Have All the Flowers Gone”); some will be originals; and some by contemporary, but lesser-known songwriters. She will also talk about her visit to Hiroshima and how that city has modeled itself as a “peace city,” on a mission to ban nuclear weapons all over the world.

Pat GORDON Lamanna, class of 1965, is an award-winning singer-songwriter, and an activist for peace and social justice. She lives in New York State’s Hudson Valley.
